Most events are straightforward. Every now and then, somebody is planning an event at a site having special requirements to make it satisfactorily functional. This can be the case for private functions at residences, and for business events at industrial venues. Depending on the scope of the necessary work, we may be able to provide custom made equipment to solve the problem, sometimes modifying an existing product to save the customer expense.

Two examples: For a reception in a backyard, to have room to accommodate guests at dining tables, a dance floor, area for the ceremony, it was necessary to cover a large spa. To protect the slate veneer, a structure was designed to fit over, without resting on, the slate surface. It also had to span a connecting lap pool. The structure was built at our shop, installed with a surface of existing platform, providing 140 sq ft of space to allow use of a large arch, flower arrangements and space for a wedding party of six.

For an event at an industrial space guests would have to walk along a trench covered only by metal grating with a very open pattern. To preclude any chance of accidently catching the heel of a shoe, etc, flooring with a tapered edging was adapted to cover an irregular run totaling approximately 140 ft.
